Road Runner - Paul Revere's Run - Hostess Twinkies - Feb 1976 - Comic ad

During the Bronze Age of comic, from 1975 to 1982 the Continental Baking Company, the makers of Hostess baked treats and Wonder Bread, among other products, started placing ads in comic books featuring comic characters interacting with Hostess products.

But apparently Looney Tunes only appeared in 13 Hostess ads from April 1975 to June 1976. After that, Western Publishing comics started featuring Hostess ads with Harvey, Archie and marvel characters. (Not DC characters, for whatever reason.)

Original Western Publishing character Wacky Adventures of Cracky ended up getting a Hostess ad or two after Looney Tunes stopped.
